Naaaah Nah… Naaaah Nah….NANANANAN (Mobile Video Game Review)

Post by The Grumpy One
Now that I have your attention, I am going to do my first video game review.  Unlike the other 3 writers in this blog, I don’t get much time to play console video games, but… I do spend a good amount of time in the bathroom, and waiting for meetings to start so I get more than enough time to play games on my smart phone.  So before I start, let me put out the warning that I have only ever paid for two games on my phone so usually every game I review will be a free game.  If not, I will warn you.

SHARK DASH (free)
There is a version that you have to pay for, but like always I got the free version so that is what I am reviewing.  So start off by looking for this app in your app store.

So I know you are probably wondering why I am already telling you how to download it, yet I haven’t even reviewed yet but SPOILER ALERT… This is my new favorite mobile game.
So here is the story on the game

You are a care-free bathtub toy shark, and the evil rubber-duckies come in and raise havoc and steal your “soul mate” so you must seek revenge and…

And how do you do this, by grabbing your shark, pull him back, aim towards the ducks, and fly around trying to eat them… AWESOME.

I know what you are thinking; this reminds me of Angry Birds…

It does, but its better.  And this is why.
1.        It’s freaking sharks against rubber ducks
2.       Your aiming point is wherever you landed last which makes it interesting
3.       And last but not least, those stars and coins you earn, are actually worth something.  You actually want to earn everything possible because you then use that to buy different levels, sharks, and other ridiculously fun stuff.

The last cool part of the game, unlike Angry Birds corporate tie-in to the horrible movie “Rio” Shark Dash’s tie-ins so far are Shark Week, and a wild life fund that you can donate real money to help out real shark and wildlife fundraisers.

Overall, incredible game.  Try it out, if you like it (and you will) you can thank me.  If you don’t like it (which will mean you don’t like fun) just delete it, it’s free.
